Photography Show - God is the Great Painter
Third Artist Exhibit at Stafford Library

Stafford Arts Commission will sponsor a third artist exhibit and opening reception
at Stafford Public Library,
on Tuesday, October 13th from 5:30pm till 8pm.

The featured artist will be Stafford’s well known and talented photographer, Roger Ingraham. The title theme for the exhibit, which will run through December 2009, is – “God is the Great Painter” – reflections of fall colors and other images of Stafford.
The exhibit will include pictures taken over the last thirty years, featuring picturesque scenes of Ellis Brook, the Middle River and Stafford Well House.

Live music will be provided by local guitarist and vocalist, Deb Kmetz.
Refreshments will be served.

A five monitor computer slide show will be a feature of the reception.
Posters and note cards will be for available for sale, proceeds donated to local organizations.

Sign up will be available at the reception for a Stafford Arts Commission sponsored Nature Photography workshop – to be conducted by Mr. Ingraham, on Sunday afternoon, October 18th ( participants will meet at the Old Town Hall – 221 East Street, Stafford Springs.)
(a camera and knowledge of its use will be a requirement for the workshop – digital recommended).The class is limited to twelve participants.
The workshop will be conducted outdoors where basic composition ideas and techniques of photographing fall color water reflections will be discussed.
At the end of the session a digital slide show will enable participants to view the results of their photography.
Refreshments will be provided.

Sign up for the workshop will also be available in the Treasurer’s Office at the Town Hall.
